Daytime drinking could be fined $300 in Thailand under new law
Those found sitting and drinking alcohol in restaurants across Thailand outside permitted hours (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to midnight) could be fined up to 10,000 baht (US$300) under a new regulation that took effect on Nov. 8. What's Your Reaction?
