Vietnamese woman jailed for selling 18 people to Thailand, Myanmar scam compounds

A Vietnamese woman has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for selling 18 people into Chinese-run scam compounds in Thailand and Myanmar, where they were forced to defraud fellow Vietnamese online under threat of beatings and being sold onward.
