Three European countries craft gold-plated crosses set to crown Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral for 200 years

Archival research in France, steelwork in Belgium and gold leaf from a 425-year-old Italian firm went into the two new crosses hoisted onto Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral's spires on March 19, replacing a pair that had stood for 128 years.
