PhD holder remains unemployed in Canada after sending 100 job applications in 7 months

Despite holding a PhD and having work experience in the United States, a 33-year-old environmental chemistry graduate has remained unemployed after submitting 100 job applications since August last year, a situation attributed to an unoptimized résumé and ineffective networking.
